The Ibn Rushd Centre of Excellence will host many academic conferences, seminars, and day consultations on the various areas of Islamic Studies. It will attract experts, nationally and internationally, to one platform to discuss the topics at hand.
Centre’s Research Seminars are a platform that brings together academic researchers and expert practitioners from various institutions with the aim of creating dynamic exchange of ideas, research and networking. The key objective of the Centre’s Research Seminars is to develop and encourage cutting-edge research in study of theological Islamic studies and sociological Islamic studies.
The Centre’s conferences are open to all academics and students of Islamic studies at all level, particularly PhD and postgraduate research students. The Centre invites and encourages students to submit abstracts for papers and partake actively in these seminars. The aim is for participants, whether academics or listeners to gain information regarding the latest research in a variety of fields, as well as being given the opportunity to contribute to the further development of the research ideas presented.
