Alif Institute seeks to train and educate clergy, psychologists, professionals and those interested to become Islamic Counsellors, in the field of Islamic Psychology. This service will consist of modules on both the Western Psychology model and Islamic tradition.
Alif Institute’s mission is to educate individuals to be the light-bearers of their communities. There is an embedded understanding across the whole organisation that an individual does not have to be a full-time psychologist to become an Islamic Counsellor – you can be a doctor, a baker, an engineer, an imam etc. Alif Institute, therefore, wants to provide access and flexibility to any individual who wants acquire knowledge to become an Islamic Counsellor.
